Ted Hodgkinson

Ted Hodgkinson (2004) has a MFA from the Columbia School of Writing. His stories have appeared in Notes from the Underground and The May Anthology.

For the last three years, he has been Online Editor for poetry at Granta, where he has built up an impressive online presence through his interviews with poets. He has also served as one of the judges for the 2012 Costa Prize for Poetry.

In the early summer of 2013, Ted was offered a role at the British Council as a Programme Manager in the Literature department, a job he has now taken up. He will have responsibility for managing projects in North Africa, the Middle East and South Asia (sending British writers to those regions, curating festivals, chairing, creating dialogue, and occasionally getting to do a bit of travel himself ,though he’ll be based in London). There will be an online side to his job similar to the interview work he hasbeen doing so successfully at Granta.
