Christopher Mead Armitage and Pauline Brooks Armitage Scholarship for Visiting Students

This scholarship is available for a student from UNC-Chapel Hill to study at St Edmund Hall as a Visiting Student for Michaelmas Term (October to December) and covers all tuition fees, accommodation and food. Travel and entertainment costs are not included. Students are invited to extend their studies for the whole year (i.e. pay for the second and third terms themselves) if they are able.

The scholarship is restricted to students studying any Arts/Humanities discipline, and preference may be given to English majors. Applications are handled by the Year Abroad Office at UNC.

This scholarship was established in recognition of alumnus Christopher Armitage (1950, English) and the work he has done to foster links between the Hall and UNC-Chapel Hill yearly since 1980.
