The Charter Scholarship Fund was established in 2007 using money donated by a number of St Edmund Hall alumni based in the United States to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the granting of the Hall’s Royal Charter, and to acknowledge the contribution of a former Principal of St Edmund Hall, Professor Michael Mingos. The scholarship is open to visiting students with US citizenship who are already in receipt of public funding.
