Monday, 23 April 2012

Two new books by Hall-connected authors have are about to hit the shelves.

Infinity: The Story of a Moment is a new novel by novelist, playwright and critic Gabriel Josipovici, an Honorary Fellow of the College. The book follows the course of a conversation between Tancredo Pavone, a wealthy Sicilian nobleman and avant-garde composer, and his former manservant Massimo. What emerges is a moving portrait of a close bond between two people from utterly different social spheres, and of a complex and vulnerable man who never gave up trying to give voice to the music that he heard within him. Available from Amazon and bookshops, ISBN-10: 1847771661

There's also a new book from Former St Edmund Development Director Terry Cudbirds called Walking the Hexagon, an escape around France on foot. Published by Signal Books at £12.99, (www.signalbooks.co.uk) his book contains over 50 photographs and 15 maps. Apart from Amazon and bookshops, it's available from Terry’s own website www.walkingaroundfrance.com.
