On Saturday 9 July, the combined choirs of Teddy Hall, St Edmund's College Cambridge, St Edmund's School Canterbury and St Edmund's College Ware will meet in Pontigny Abbey in Burgundy for a weekend of musical and liturgical celebrations of St Edmund, who died near Pontigny in 1240 and is buried in the Abbey.

It would be wonderful if alumni and current members of the St Edmund Hall community were able to join us. On the afternoon of the Saturday there will be a lecture/guided tour of the Abbey and in the evening we will perform a concert of British choral music, followed by the Fauré Requiem. There will be a pre-concert reception for alumni and members of all four institutions, featuring some of the local wine - the Abbey is but a few miles from Chablis.

On the Sunday morning there will be an Ecumenical Mass and in the afternoon an Evensong, followed by a party.
