The Hon Justice Elizabeth Hollingworth

Elizabeth Hollingworth (St Edmund Hall 1984, Law) was appointed as a judge of the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2004, and is a member of the International Commission of Jurists, the Forensic Leave Panel, the Council of Legal Education and the Legal Profession Tribunal. Other committees and boards of which she has been a member include: Public Interest Law Clearing House, Commonwealth Attorney-General's Evidence Act Monitoring Committee, and Patent & Trade Marks Attorneys Disciplinary Tribunal. A senior fellow at the University of Melbourne, she has taught in the JD and LLM programs. Elizabeth was a Rhodes Scholar at the Hall and was the first Australian woman lawyer to be awarded a Rhodes Scholarship.
