Johanna Koljonen

Johanna Koljonen (2004, English) is an award-winning broadcaster, critic, columnist and author.

After graduating with a First from the Hall she returned to Sweden, where she has created and hosted a number of cultural programmes on national radio and television, lately through her production company Rundfunk Media AB.

Her first book of non-fiction, Främling. En bok om Carola, was written in collaboration with Andreas Ekström and published in 2012. She has also published essays and short fiction in several anthologies. She is also a scriptwriter of graphic novels; her multi-volume manga Oblivion High is published in Sweden and Finland.

She served on the Swedish government committee for literature during 2011-2012 and on the jury for the Augustpriset Literary Award in 2011. Johanna was the winner of the Swedish Grand Journalism Prize in 2011 in the Innovator of the Year category.
