All Hall members are invited to attend Teddy Hall’s Choral Evensong – a musical performance and chapel service livestreamed from the College.
Candlemas
Theme ‘Knowledge’.
For the Feast of Candlemas, Professor Henrike Lähnemann will be speaking on the theme ‘Wonder and Knowledge’, bringing in her research on the Medingen nuns’ manuscripts and discussing the University’s motto Dominus illuminatio mea (‘The Lord is my light’). Music will include German and Latin texts and music from the Medingen Psalter, currently held in the Bodleian.
