Internships: A guide to finding internship opportunities in the UK and globally

All current Teddy Hall undergraduates and postgraduates are invited to a talk by Abby Evans (from the Careers service) on Internships: A guide to finding internship opportunities in the UK and globally on Tuesday 31 January at 16:30 in the Doctorow Hall.

Are you thinking about gaining some work experience during vacations? In this session, we will discover the range of opportunities on offer and let you know about the internship programmes that are exclusively available for Oxford students of all year groups. The Summer Internship programme offers 4-12 week internships (with financial support) in sectors ranging from university research, sustainability and conservation to heritage, journalism and development in 40+ countries including the UK. For those who cannot spare several weeks in the summer, the Careers Service also runs a programme of micro-internships lasting 3-5 days. Open to students of all year groups from first year undergraduates to final year DPhils the programmes offer unique opportunities to travel and explore career areas. Come along to this short session to learn more about the programme, the application process and to hear about some of the opportunities.
