Access & Outreach Coordinator
Eve works in the Admissions Office and is responsible for the day to day running of the College’s access and outreach programmes.
Primarily, this involves working with schools and colleges in St Edmund Hall’s link areas: Leicester, Leicestershire, Derby, Derbyshire and Rutland. Eve regularly travels to visit schools in these areas, and also hosts visits to Oxford from schools, colleges and individual prospective applicants.
In addition, Eve runs the College’s Student Ambassador Scheme, encouraging current students to share their experiences and affection for Teddy Hall with visiting pupils and prospective applicants. Eve can provide training, materials, and support to any current students who wish to speak at their former schools about Oxford, Oxbridge or other university applications.
You can contact Eve with any queries about:
- The Student Ambassador scheme
- Open Days
- Family and Friends Day
- Prospectuses and other admissions materials
- School and college visits.
Eve recently graduated from Magdalen College with a degree in History and Politics. She was a JCR Access and Admissions Officer as a student and is excited to carry on this work at St Edmund Hall.
After specialising in Middle East studies during her degree, outside of work Eve is currently trying (although not necessarily succeeding) to learn Arabic from scratch, with the help of the University Language Centre.
