Lizzie Fry

Access and Outreach Coordinator

Lizzie works in the Admissions Office and is responsible for the day to day running of the College’s outreach programmes.

Primarily, this involves working with schools and colleges in St Edmund Hall’s link areas: Leicester, Leicestershire, Derby, Derbyshire and Rutland. Lizzie regularly travels to visit schools in these areas, and also hosts visits to Oxford from schools, colleges and individual prospective applicants.

In addition, Lizzie runs the College’s Student Ambassador Scheme, encouraging current students to share their experiences and affection for Teddy Hall with visiting pupils and prospective applicants. Lizzie can provide training, materials, and support to any current students who wish to speak at their former schools about Oxford, Oxbridge or other university applications.

You can contact Lizzie with any queries about:

  • The Student Ambassador scheme
  • Open Days
  • Family and Friends Day
  • Prospectuses and other admissions materials
  • School and college visits.

Lizzie joins the access and outreach team as a recent graduate of the college. During her Geography degree here Lizzie was an enthusiastic student ambassador, including on the inaugural outreach roadshow. She was also involved in many other aspects of student life; assisting the choir, appearing on University Challenge, playing for the women’s football team, and captaining the college’s women’s hockey and cricket teams alongside earning a University Blue in cricket.
