Steven Pilley

College Lecturer in Biochemistry

Steven graduated from St Edmund Hall in 2017 with a Masters degree in Biochemistry.  He completed his part II in Professor Matthew Whitby’s lab.

Since then, he has started a PhD degree at The Francis Crick Institute with Professor Karen Vousden, looking at mutant p53 proteins in cancer. He has returned to the Hall to give some first-year tutorials on genetics and cell biology.
