Early Career Teaching Appointment in Sustainable Management
The College proposes to create an Early Career Appointment associated with a Junior Research Fellowship in Sustainable Management. The appointment is fixed for two years from the successful candidate’s agreed start date and is non-renewable. The anticipated start date is 1 January 2027, or as soon as possible thereafter.
An important feature of the appointment is the opportunity for the post-holder to be embedded within the Saïd Business School (SBS), University of Oxford, where they will contribute to the Innovative Finance research project. Working collaboratively with researchers at SBS, HEC Montréal and the University of Michigan, the post-holder will undertake research relating to the project while also having opportunities to engage with the wider research community at SBS and the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship.

Location: Oxford
Salary: The successful applicant will be appointed on Grade 6.2 of the St Edmund Hall salary scale (currently £36,057 per annum) and will have the option of becoming or remaining a member of the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS).
The appointee will be entitled to an Academic Allowance (currently £3,000 per annum).
Fellows are members of the Senior Common Room and entitled to full dining rights when the College kitchen is open.

- A curriculum vitae.
- A sample of their research output of no more than 5000 words.
- The names of three academic referees (see below).
Applicants must normally have received the degree of PhD or equivalent by 1 October 2026 and should not normally have completed a PhD or equivalent earlier than 1 October 2021 (excepting career breaks, for example, for parental leave).
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to contact their referees and ask them to submit a reference directly to the Human Resources Department.
