Alumni & Development

The Master

St Edmund Hall is committed to keeping our world-wide community of alumni in touch with each other and the College.

Every member of the College, past and present, is known as an 'Aularian' which derives from the word 'aula' (Latin for 'Hall') and means 'member of the Hall'. All Aularians are a member of College for life. I look forward to welcoming many of you back for events at the Hall and I hope that you will continue to feel welcome. Please let us know if you are planning a visit to Oxford at any point, as we would be delighted to show you round the buildings and grounds.

Please browse through the Alumni & Development section of the website to find details of Gaudies (reunions of particular years), as well as regional and international gatherings for Aularians and supporters of the Hall. Please log on to the Aularians website to update your contact details and find fellow Aularians.

I hope you will also take time to read about our fundraising plans to help us sustain the College. We strive to ensure that every student is supported and challenged academically by outstanding tutors; inspired by a beautiful living and working environment; provided with a wide variety of social, sporting, artistic and community service opportunities; and given the financial support necessary to make it all possible.

The generosity of Aularians, friends of the Hall and parents of current students is critical. I would like to personally express my continued gratitude to all donors at this time. Every gift made to the College has impact and is much appreciated.

Floreat Aula!
