Heather Barr
Graduate Trainee Library Assistant
Heather joined Teddy Hall in September 2021 as the Graduate Trainee Library Assistant.
She supports the Librarian and Assistant Librarian with the everyday running of the Library.
Heather first came to Oxford as an undergraduate, to read English Language and Literature at Lady Margaret Hall. She then spent 2 years in London, working in Business Development for a specialist education agency, before returning to complete a Masters Degree in Medieval English Literature at St Hilda’s College. During her Masters, Heather worked part-time in the St Hilda’s College Library, where she discovered her interest in librarianship.
Outside of work, Heather would ideally spend the entirety of her time reading (a surprising librarian hobby), seeing live music, or on a beach (including wrapped up in 5 coats and fighting the rain).
