Accommodation
Much of our accommodation is found on our main site, located on Queen’s Lane, just off Oxford’s High Street in the heart of Oxford. Alongside accommodation and teaching rooms the site houses a large modern dining hall, common rooms, IT suites, a chapel, music room, welfare room and a college library and a bar.
We offer accommodation on the main College site to all our first-year and some third-year undergraduates, while the rest of our second, third and fourth-year students are typically housed in our annexes in East Oxford and our Norham St Edmund (NSE) site at Norham Gardens in North Oxford.
Coming soon – new student accommodation
Opening in October 2026, 127 ensuite study rooms will be available to undergraduates at our second largest college site, Norham St Edmund (NSE), in North Oxford. You can live in state-of-the-art study rooms, designed for sustainability, with spacious facilities in the beautiful, quiet, and leafy surroundings near University Parks.

Undergraduate Accommodation
All our undergraduates are guaranteed a room in one of the College’s properties throughout the duration of their course.

Postgraduate Accommodation
St Edmund Hall aims to offer college accommodation to most first-year graduate students at our Norham St Edmund Site in North Oxford or 8 Essex Street in East Oxford.

Visiting Student Accommodation
We offer accommodation to all our Visiting Students for the whole of their time in Oxford.
Teddy Hall is so central, and I value the extra 15 minutes sleep I get before heading to an early lecture!
