Parental Consent Form
Oxford Apply Workshop
We are delighted that your child/ward has been selected to attend our Oxford Apply Workshop, which will take place on Tuesday 2 July 2019. This letter provides more information about the day, and asks you to declare your consent for your child’s/ ward’s participation.
Your child/ward will not be able to attend the workshop unless we receive this fully completed form before 5pm on Friday 21 June.
Travel
Your child/ward is expected to make travel arrangements to and from Oxford, and, if using public transport, to walk from the train or coach station to the venue. There is no parking available at the College, except for disabled guests. The easiest way of getting to Oxford city centre is by coach or train.
We recommend that travel arrangements are made as soon as possible. Maps of Oxford and more travel advice are available below
We recommend that your child/ward brings a map of Oxford city centre with them on the day, or has access to maps on their phone.
Parents and teachers are not able to accompany students on the workshop, but may wish to come to Oxford for the University Open Day on 3 or 4 July.
The Visit
Students should aim to arrive and register at any time between 10.00 and 10.30am, when the event will begin in earnest. Signs will direct you from the main entrance to College (Queen’s Lane, OX1 4AR) to the venue. The visit includes a buffet lunch, provided free of charge, and will conclude by 4:15pm.

Accommodation
Accommodation has been offered free of charge for participants who requested it for the night of 2 July. This accommodation will be at St Edmund Hall, on our main Queen’s Lane site. Participants will be able to check in to their rooms when the workshops finish at 4:15pm (bags can be stored securely before this). Bedding and soap/towels will be provided.
