Temporary Summer Reception Staff

Full or Part Time

The successful candidates will be required to undertake a variety of tasks and jobs and therefore flexibility is a key requirement of the role.  This is a guest facing role, the primary component of which is to provide shift cover for the Reception areas of both the Tamesis and William R Miller buildings on days or nights as required. Duties include greeting guests on arrival, providing an efficient check-in, check-out service in addition to some ad hoc administrative and security tasks. Full training will be provided.

The roles offer a mixture of hours and flexibility but you will be expected to work between 30 to 35 hours per week including early, late and night shifts on a three shift on, three shift off basis (Monday to Sunday). We also ask for a commitment to be available from June 25 to September 30 inclusive. Dedicated shifts are available and you will not be expected to rotate between days and nights.

Our receptionists are the first people our guests meet and therefore those first impressions are really important. We are therefore looking for friendly, welcoming and genuine team members.  You will be passionate about making our guests feel at home and you must have the ability to work independently as well as part of the wider team.  Experience in a similar customer facing role is desirable but not essential.
