Sunday 19 April marks the 340th anniversary of the laying of the stones of the Hall’s Chapel and Old Library.

The Chapel and Old Library were built in 1680 and are a central part of the College life today, providing chapel services, musical performances, reflection and special exhibition spaces.

College Librarian, James Howarth, has written a blog about its building and construction to celebrate the Chapel and Old Library’s birthday today on the St Edmund Hall Blog.
