Aularian meet-ups in LA and Madrid

29 Oct 2026

In September, the Hall hosted alumni drinks receptions in Los Angeles and Madrid, bringing alumni together to reconnect with fellow Teddy Hall members and hear the latest news from St Edmund Hall.

On Thursday 3 September, the Principal, Professor Baroness Willis, hosted Aularian drinks and canapes in Pasadena, at the Caltech Athenaeum Club, kindly co-hosted and supported by Ethan Lipsig (1967, Philosophy). The event provided an opportunity for Los Angeles and southern Californian Aularians to reconnect with one another and the Hall.

A few weeks later on Thursday 17 September, the Principal was joined by the Hall’s Deputy Development Director, Tom Sprent, for an intimate gathering in the historic Palace Hotel in Madrid, Spain, kindly hosted by Aularian Marti Riba (2011, Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing). In total, 11 guests enjoyed meeting and catching up on Hall news over drinks and tapas.
