One time capsule, two years of HALLmarks Campaign

25 Apr 2024

Teddy Hall is delighted to be celebrating two years of our HALLmarks campaign for the Hall which aims to deliver an inclusive and aspirational experience for all by 2029. To celebrate, we are looking for suggestions from our Hall members of what we can put inside a time capsule which will be buried in the ground at our new 127 student bedroom development and facilities ‘Norham St Edmund’ at 17 Norham Gardens in North Oxford – a key HALLmarks project to secure the Hall’s ability to provide a sustainable study and living experience for our students.

We invite members to submit suggestions for what we could bury as a keepsake for future generations of Aularians to discover!

The Hall is making a great difference to our students and the wider community by having raised 27% of its £50m goal to date thanks to the continued generosity and support of its Aularian community.

The campaign is forged around eight HALLmarks representing the enduring and emerging components of St Edmund Hall’s DNA and community: Camaraderie, Creativity, Curiosity, Community, Conservation, Continuity, Care and Connection. Each HALLmark is linked to our fundraising priority areas so that alumni and friends alike can choose to align their support with those values that resonate most with them as individuals.

We look forward to sharing more campaign updates with Aularians on progress with the Norham St Edmund development and HALLmarks campaign in the months ahead. If any alumni have questions about the campaign or would like to know how to be more involved, please contact Andrew Vivian, Fellow & Director of Development at andrew.vivian@seh.ox.ac.uk or +44 (0)1865 279096.
