Professor Carly Howett on 'A Question of Science' Podcast with Brian Cox

Who owns space? Professor Carly Howett, Associate Professor of Physics and Tutorial Fellow, recently joined Professor Brian Cox and an expert panel on the ‘A Question of Science’ Podcast to tackle the technology, politics and ethics of space exploration.

Professor Howett shares:

“As space access becomes cheaper more countries and companies are going to head to the stars, and ensuring we do this in a way that is fair, equitable and safe is key to our success. During the podcast I really enjoyed hearing the public’s questions and the other panel member’s insights into the important topics raised on this issue. It was also a really fun time, the Question of Science team are brilliant and I really appreciated their work on highlighting the important (but sometimes subtle) ethical questions of modern science.”
