Two Hall academics elected to prestigious fellowships

We are delighted to announce that two Hall academics have recently been elected to prestigious fellowships:

  • Professor Heidi Johansen-Berg has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society, and
  • Professor Krina Zondervan has been elected as a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences.

Heidi Johansen-Berg is Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience, Director of the Wellcome Centre for Integrative Neuroimaging, and Fellow of St Edmund Hall. She is one of the 90 exceptional researchers from across the world who have this year been elected to the Fellowship of the Royal Society, a self-governing Fellowship made up of the most eminent scientists, engineers and technologists from the UK and the Commonwealth. Krina Zondervan is Professor of Reproductive and Genomic Epidemiology, Head of the Nuffield Department of Women’s & Reproductive Health, and Fellow by Special Election in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. This year, the Academy of Medical Sciences has elected 58 exceptional biomedical and health scientists to its prestigious Fellowship in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the advancement of biomedical and health science, cutting-edge research discoveries, and translating developments into benefits for patients and wider society.
