Alex Martin
Assistant Junior Dean at NSE
Alex is the Assistant Junior Dean in the Willis Building at Norham St Edmund (NSE).
Alex is reading for a DPhil in Biology as part of the Doctoral Training Centre’s Interdisciplinary Life and Environmental Science programme. His research explores the taxonomic and genetic diversity of urban trees and how this diversity influences the spread of forest insects and pathogens. On weekends, Alex enjoys whitewater kayaking, hiking, and walking through Wytham Woods.
Throughout his undergraduate and graduate studies, Alex has been actively involved in supporting student welfare. He is always happy to help with any questions or concerns.
