Alexander is an MSc student in Major Programme Management at Saïd Business School matriculating in 2021. An HEC Montréal-Saïd Business School Scholar, he completed double BAs (Political Science Honours & Psychology Major: Concordia University) and an MBA (HEC Montréal) before joining the University of Oxford, a choice fueled by his drive to lead major educational initiatives that make transformative impacts across society.

Founder and CEO of ‘empowering education consulting,’ he has 15 years of proactive management across multinational, private and public, and entrepreneurial organisations. He employs a strategic yet analytical approach to leading teams based on a strongly held value pairing of equity and empowerment. His exhaustive work and volunteer experience stretches from higher education to marketing to industrial settings from Mexico to India to Vietnam, and many places in between.

He’s served on the ‘It Happens Here’ (anti-sexual violence) and International Student campaigns for the Student Union and in a handful of student representation roles at Saïd Business School. His commitment to enacting change, systematically and individually, drives his academic, professional, and personal passions. His thesis aims to investigate gender inequities faced by female leaders in non-traditional major programme contexts.

An avid proponent of pushing your boundaries and experiencing all life has to offer, he’s lived in four different continents and believes no challenge doesn’t have its rewards. Despite his deep love for his native Canada, he proudly considers Teddy Hall his adopted home.
