Sous Chef
Andrea is the Sous Chef at St Edmund Hall.
Andrea comes from the south of Italy, from beautiful Puglia, and is a passionate chef. He began his first job at the age of 13 in a bakery, where he discovered his love for food and the joy of working with his hands. Over the years, he has nurtured a deep passion for cooking, which he continues to share not only professionally but also in his free time.
In his spare time, Andrea gives cooking lessons and enjoys preparing buffets and delicious meals for his friends and family. He also tends to an allotment in Oxford, where he finds time to disconnect from the daily routine and grow healthy, organic produce.
He loves cycling and exploring new cultures and ways of life. Above all, Andrea deeply believes in people and in the goodness of others — values that inspire his way of living and working every day.
