Dr Brian Gasser
Dean of Degrees
Brian is Dean of Degrees for the Hall’s students at matriculation ceremonies and Degree Days.
After he himself matriculated through the Hall in 1975 and completed a DPhil in English, Brian’s career in university administration took him first to Leeds and then back to Oxford. He held the post of Clerk to the Proctors until 2013.
Brian edited the St Edmund Hall Magazine from 2014 to 2019.
