Professor David Dupret

Fellow by Special Election in Neuroscience

Professor David Dupret teaches Systems Neuroscience (undergraduate) and Neurophysiology.

  • MRC Programme Leader, Brain Network Dynamics Unit, Department of Pharmacology
  • Associate Professor, University of Oxford
  • Associate Research Fellow, Nuffield Department of Clinical Neuroscience
  • Fellow in Neuroscience, St Edmund Hall
  • Scholar of the FENS-Kavli Network of Excellence
  • Professeur Agrégé ès Sciences Biologiques”, French Ministry of Education (currently on leave)

Professor Dupret’s research interests address the temporal dynamics of brain circuits in relation to behaviour. The primary aim of his research programme is to understand how neuronal activity in the hippocampal circuit contributes to the acquisition, consolidation and recall of memory traces.
