Dr Jo Ashbourn

Dr Jo Ashbourn’s current research is focused on theoretical aspects of solar physics and fusion plasma phenomena as well as a study of dusty plasmas and the creation of novel nanoparticles in high energy plasmas.
She is also the Director of the St Cross Centre for the History and Philosophy of Physics (HAPP), which has been established to bring together the community of scholars in the history and philosophy of physics in Oxford, the United Kingdom and beyond.
