Part Time

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable administration experience within one of Oxford’s most reputable colleges. The role is busy and varied, involving the handling of routine enquiries and providing comprehensive administrative support across the full student life cycle.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, methodical, and have strong administration skills with exceptional attention to detail. Reporting to the Deputy College Registrar, the appointee will work closely with colleagues across the College’s professional and domestic teams, departmental leads, and senior College Officers. Full training will be provided.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, together with the ability to work to tight deadlines, will be essential in building positive working relationships with all stakeholders. You will help ensure that this key department remains a trusted, professional, and approachable service for our students. A high level of discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.

Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite, are required, as are strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively by telephone, video call, and in writing.

Our College is situated on Queen’s Lane in beautiful surroundings just off the High Street and close to the river, offering a historic and inspiring working environment. Local buses, cafés, the Covered Market and shops are all within a short walk, with Oxford railway station approximately 20 minutes away creating a welcoming and convenient place in which to work.

In return, you will benefit from working for a warm, supportive and inclusive organisation offering good development opportunities to broaden your skills plus a comprehensive benefits package as follows:

  • A free three-course lunch.
  • Excellent annual leave entitlement (up to 38 days per year) and additional days for long service following five years service.
