College Events Officer

Part Time

The Development Department at St Edmund Hall has seen some exciting changes in the past year with a new senior leadership structure in place making it an exciting time to join and be part of our new chapter as we embark on a new campaign in our philanthropic journey.

Our College is located in Queen’s Lane in beautiful surroundings just off the High Street and close to the river in Oxford with its historic charm.  Buses, cafes, the Covered Market and shops are only a short distance away and the train station is approximately a 20-minute walk.  The Development Offices are located in our small Front Quad (one of the most attractive in Oxford). This all helps to create an excellent environment in which to work.

In return, you will benefit from working for a warm, supportive and inclusive organisation (part of a world-leading university) offering good development opportunities to broaden your skills plus a comprehensive benefits package as follows:

  • A free three-course lunch.
  • Membership of the Oxford Staff Pension Scheme (OSPS).
  • Excellent annual leave entitlement (up to 38 days per year) and additional days for long service following five years service.

  • The post also qualifies for the Edu Health Scheme which offers special private medical insurance for University staff and their families at a discounted rate.

We are a very sociable team and arrange various staff events throughout the year including quizzes, a summer BBQ, a Christmas event and more.

The College seeks to foster a collaborative and respectful work environment which promotes equality, diversity and inclusion together with a policy of assisting all our employees to achieve professional growth.
