'Ex Aula' research journal returns for new series

After a successful launch last year, St Edmund Hall’s online postgraduate research journal, Ex Aula, is back for a new series. Eight articles are promised this term, on a wide range of topics, all written in an accessible, engaging way and aimed at a non-specialist audience. Take a look and find out more about some of the intriguing research projects that members of our MCR (Middle Common Room, our postgraduate student body) are currently undertaking.

The first article of the new series, ‘From Russia Without Love’ by Oliver Woodhall (MPhil Russian Studies and East European Studies), is now available to read online. In it, Oliver allays fears about him being a Russian spy and takes a closer look at the term ‘cybersecurity’ – giving useful insights into the differences in attitude between Russia and the West, but also offering hope of common interests upon which greater future cooperation might be built.
