Hall Fellow Professor Wei Huang & Oxford Scientists Developed Rapid Covid-19 Testing

St Edmund Hall Fellow by Special Election in Synthetic Biology, Professor Wei Huang and Director of the University of Oxford Suzhou Centre for Advanced Research, Professor Zhanfeng Cui, has led a team which has developed a rapid testing technology for the coronavirus.

It gives a faster test result in half an hour than the current 1.5-2 hours. They have ran some clinical testing and now seek to enable it to be used by clinics, airports or at home.
