Head of Alumni Relations (Maternity Cover)

Full Time

We are seeking a Head of Alumni Relations to cover a period of maternity leave commencing at the beginning of July or soon after.  The Hall has an alumni constituency of approximately 10,000 Old Members (called Aularians, from aula, Latin for hall).  The Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO) runs an extensive events and communications programme designed to foster and deepen relationships between the Hall and its alumni and to secure financial support from alumni and other friends.

The successful candidate will develop, implement and manage the departmental strategy for alumni relations with a view to enhancing the engagement of the alumni with the College and support fundraising. The appointee will also line manage the College Events Officer.

Experience of office administration and event management are essential as is a flexible and adaptable attitude towards duties as some travel in the UK and out of hours working will occasionally be required.  You will have excellent interpersonal, organisational and planning skills and the ability to see projects through to completion.
