College hosts Turkish science fiction event
18 Jan 2019

On Thursday 17 January, our Junior Research Fellow Dr Emre Eren Korkmaz convened a talk on Turkish Science-Fiction Literature with well-known Turkish author Ayşe Acar as a part of the activities of the Oxford University Studies on Turkey Network.
A productive conversation on science, religion, futurism, mysticism and philosophy allowed participants to have a deeper understanding of Mrs Acar’s works. Ayşe Acar is currently working on her fourth book, and her previous works will be translated into English and published in the UK soon.
