Hall Early Career Fellow Involved in Covid-19 Vaccine Development

Jack Tan, the EPA Cephalosporin Early Career Teaching and Research Fellow at St Edmund Hall is part of a team working to develop a vaccine and therapeutic antibodies for the coronavirus. He is currently working as postdoctoral scientist in the Alain Townsend lab at the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine.

His main work is developing a single cycle influenza vaccine (S-FLU) for clinical trials and working to further understand the immune responses against influenza elicited by S-FLU in animal models and humans.
