Student Ambassadors

As a Student Ambassador, you’ll have the opportunity to inspire young people, share your experience of Oxford, and help prospective students feel at home at Teddy Hall.
There are lots of ways to get involved, from supporting school visits and Open Days in Oxford to joining us for residentials and outreach trips around the country. The role is flexible, rewarding, and a great way to meet other students while making a difference.

Want to get involved?

As a Student Ambassador, you could:

  • Support school visits to Teddy Hall, including:
    • Giving tours of the college
    • Taking part in a Q&A sessions with prospective students
    • Chatting with students over lunch in Hall
  • Help create content for our outreach social media
  • Support Open Days, residentials, Offer Holder Days, and other paid events
  • Share your experiences of studying and living at Oxford
  • Encourage young people to explore their options and feel confident about university

As well as making a difference to prospective students, you’ll:

  • Get a free lunch when volunteering on school visits
  • Get priority for paid events such as residentials or Open Days
  • Have the opportunity to come on expenses-paid outreach trips, such as the Teddy Hall Outreach Roadshow
  • Be eligible for our termly Ambassador awards and prizes
  • Be invited to outreach socials and our annual Outreach Formal
  • Meet other Teddy Hall students from across subjects and year groups

Getting to speak to prospective students and explain why I love being at Oxford (and Teddy Hall!) is so rewarding. Talking to pupils about university life and helping to dispel some of the myths surrounding Oxford feels like a real full-circle moment, as many of their worries are ones I had myself before coming here.
